Origin
Four years ago, I was running field dispatch for North America’s largest facility management networks — Fortune 500 sites on every block you pass: grocery, pharmacy, coffee, telecom, bank. One founder, one laptop, one brutal spreadsheet, nights in Aqaba while the sites ran in Dallas and Detroit.
I learned three things.
One — the work is dispatch, not software. Software that doesn’t dispatch is theater.
Two — the entire industry is running on humans copy-pasting between eight tabs. Billion-dollar companies. Eight tabs.
Three — the networks pay in 48 hours when you know how to read a work order. Nobody told the VC-funded “FSM platforms” this. They’re still pitching dashboards.
STEADYWRK is what I built after I got tired of being the spreadsheet. Eleven agents run the machine. I run the agents. Fortune 500 sites still get dispatched. The difference is now one person can do it at 3am from Aqaba and the technician is onsite before the competitor’s sales rep has responded to the intake form.
No raise. No team. No investors. Just receipts.
The Problem
A work order fires at 2am. The facility manager emails a dispatcher. The dispatcher wakes up, opens eight browser tabs, copies a reference number into a spreadsheet, calls three technicians, waits for someone to pick up. Four hours pass before anyone is onsite.
Meanwhile, Jordan produces 7,000+ ICT graduates per year — and 41% of youth can’t find work. The talent exists. The systems connecting it to work don’t.
Our Approach
We built an autonomous operations engine. Work orders come in. AI reads them, generates a quote under the NTE, matches a vetted contractor by trade and radius, and dispatches — all in under two hours. No human copy-pasting. No spreadsheet.
Three verticals. One engine. AI handles dispatch routing, technician matching, quoting, compliance, and threat detection. Humans handle the work that requires hands, judgment, and trust.
Where We Are
Why Aqaba
The Gateway Nobody Expected
Aqaba is Jordan’s only coastal city — a Special Economic Zone on the Red Sea where the Middle East, Africa, and Asia converge. It’s not where you’d expect an AI operations company to be born. That’s the point.
Dense infrastructure, constant construction, year-round demand. This is the environment where we built and pressure-tested every dispatch workflow before deploying it to US markets. When your operations engine works for the Red Sea corridor, it works anywhere.
Leadership
Yousof Almalkawi
Founder & CEO · Aqaba, Jordan
Jordanian engineer-operator. Before STEADYWRK, ran field dispatch for North America’s largest FM networks — Fortune 500 sites on every block you pass. Now builds AI-native operations for the industries that never made it onto the SaaS map.
STEADYWRK runs on AI because Yousof builds it that way — every vertical, every workflow, every decision amplified by intelligent systems. The goal: make MENA talent impossible to ignore and make US field service actually work.
