Read each field on its own terms.
Use provenance.by_field to identify the source of the value you are reading. These labels describe different kinds of evidence.
Estimated
canonical_estimateThe field comes from a configured reference value. An estimate is not an observed result, even when it appears beside measured fields in the same response.
Unavailable
unavailableA supported value is not available for this field. A missing value does not mean zero, and an estimate should not be substituted for it.

Keep the definition with the result.
Identify the measured event.
A request duration, a decision, and a completed outcome answer different questions. Use the metric definition before drawing a conclusion about a workflow.
Check the observation window.
Keep the response time, sampling time where supplied, period boundaries, and exclusion rules with a citation. The revision date of this guide is not a measurement date.
Preserve the evidence you cite.
Save the response and its source labels. A later response can change; a current value does not reconstruct an earlier observation.

What the evidence supports.
- Does this page establish how autonomous the whole product is?
No. This page explains how to read the published evidence. A claim about an entire workflow needs evidence covering its inputs, decisions, actions, exceptions, and outcomes over a defined period. A single latency or override figure cannot establish that coverage.
- Can one response contain both estimates and observed values?
Yes. Check provenance.by_field for the particular field you want to cite. The source of a neighboring field or a summary label does not establish the source of your chosen value.
- What does a matching publication receipt establish?
It can establish that the supplied content matches a digest and that the supplied chain links are internally consistent. It does not establish factual accuracy, AI authorship, successful execution, or an unchanged history. Those claims require separate evidence.
